Build Confidence

Let your personality shine in front of a crowd. Learn to be a great public speaker, interpret body language, and read a room, whether it’s soccer practice, your best friend’s sleepover, or school assembly.

Margot

Make Friends

No “buts”, just “Yes, and….” The first rule of improv is to always say yes. We accept, acknowledge and build on each other’s ideas. Connect with creative, energetic people your age and work together to put on a show that you will all be proud of.

Teuila

Have Fun

Act out loud. Be yourself, get crazy, let yourself go. Dance like nobody’s watching, scream at the top of your lungs, or be silent and still. You can be whoever you want to be, but most importantly, you have permission to be who you are.

Acting Techniques

From character arcs to scene studies and improvisation, you will learn what makes a story sing, what makes a character tic, and what makes an audience feel something long after the curtain call.

Improvisation Exercises

Match your creativity with spontaneity - spin tall tales on the spot, learn how to make the most convincing excuses for not doing your chores, and entertain your friends when the internet’s down. The winner of all improv games is who has the most fun, which means every performer and member of the audience leaves with a prize, a belly full of laughs and a heart full of joy.

    the art of great storytelling

Our classes are communities. You’ll make friends, build confidence and banish stage fright, all while learning powerful acting techniques.

We work from scripts in the great American canon, classics by writers such as Neil Simon, Tennessee Williams, Martin Scorsese and Arthur Miller as well as unsung gems from Evelyn Emig, Robert Patrick, and many more. (Full disclosure: We’re totally literature geeks.) You’ll prepare scenes, playing roles handpicked to help you get real onstage and grow as an actor.

Our wide-angle training and dedication to positive learning creates devotees: 80% of the youth who take one of our classes sign up for another.

  • It takes practice to become an actor. Like learning to do yoga or play the piano, it works its way inside you as you learn and master it. To do that, we rehearse. A lot. We provide serious, focused, comprehensive training designed to give you experience and set you on the path to becoming a thinking artist.

Get on the stage and embrace your inner genius!

    It’s risky. It’s fun. It’s transformational. It’s fabulous.

We can’t wait for you to join us.

  • Acting will do more than make you comfortable and expressive in front of a crowd.

    Our students:

Learn to be good public speakers. They interview well, helping them get into their top-pick colleges and land better jobs.

Apply the ritual of hard work and accomplishment to academics, sports, music, volunteering and club activities.

Build stronger friendships and relate to peers more deeply.

Feel more confident, day-in and day-out.

Understand themselves and connect to their rich inner landscapes.

You are luminous.
